Introducing A Taste of Cajun by Mickey Browns Beef Burrito

Mickey Brown's Burrito is a food business located in Houma, Louisiana. It is a family-owned and operated business that has been around since the mid-1950s. They specialize in making beef and deer tamales, as well as burritos.  The business was started by Mickey Brown, who reportedly decided he could make tamales better than anyone else after a trip to Mexico. He initially sold tamales from a small shop on Cenac Street in Houma before moving the operation to its current location in 1974. His son, Marshall Brown, took over the business in 1977. Marshall Brown continues to use his father's original recipe.  Mickey Brown's produces about 100,000 pounds of tamales a year. They have expanded to a new, larger facility to increase production, which will include automated equipment.
